Take Stock in Children's Strides for Education 5K Walk/Run

"Strides for Education" 5K Walk/Run is open to individuals, families, companies, schools and local organizations.  Registration is $25 per person, with all proceeds benefiting Take Stock in Children, a non-profit organization with a 17-year history of helping Florida's low-income and at-risk youth.  It is the only scholarship and mentoring program with the mission of breaking the cycle of poverty through education, and has attained a high school graduation rate of 92% in Florida.

We believe that knowledge is power, and educaton is the best investment there is.  Together we can fulfill the vision of advancing education in our state and improve our economic future by developing the next generation of leaders; resulting in a stronger workforce and better communities.
