Join the Greater Sanford Regional Chamber of Commerce as we celebrate and officially welcome Thryv Health Direct Primary Care to the Sanford business community with a special Ribbon Cutting Celebration!
Come meet Dr. Courtney St. James, tour the practice, learn more about a different approach to primary care, and help us celebrate this exciting addition to Downtown Sanford.
🩺 What Is Direct Primary Care?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a membership-based approach to healthcare designed to make primary care simpler, more accessible, and more personal.
Instead of traditional copays and unexpected bills, members pay a clear monthly fee for ongoing primary care. Because Thryv Health Direct Primary Care does not bill insurance for primary care visits, Dr. St. James can focus on what matters most, spending more time with her patients.
The DPC model allows for:

✨ Same-day or next-day access
✨ Unlimited physician visits
✨ Direct communication with your doctor
✨ A greater focus on prevention and long-term wellness
✨ Care centered around nutrition, movement, hormonal balance, and overall health
Dr. Courtney St. James provides thoughtful, relationship-based primary care built on time, access, and trust, helping patients better understand their health and take an active role in their wellness.
💙 Services Available Through Membership
Membership includes access to a wide range of primary and preventive care services, including:
- Comprehensive management of hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, hypothyroidism, asthma, and other ongoing health needs
- Unlimited physician visits
- Acute and sick care
- Telehealth visits when appropriate
- Annual preventive wellness exams
- Sports physicals
- Specialist referrals and coordinated-care guidance
- In-office testing, including glucose, rapid strep, flu/COVID, urinalysis, and pregnancy testing
- In-office procedures including EKGs, simple laceration repair, joint and trigger-point injections, abscess care, mole removal, skin biopsies, ear irrigation, Pap smears, and pelvic exams
- HSA accepted
