Time:

Event Description:
Seminole High School is excited to launch a new program GUARANTEED to bring technology to ALL students on our campus. Many school districts including Seminole County support a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy to address the value of technology is a classroom. However, what happens if a student doesn't have a device? That's where Operation Wireless comes in. Don't Know What To Do With Your Old Smartphone? Donate it to Operation Wireless. Have an old tablet you don't need? Donate it to Operation Wireless. Your donation of a Smartphone or tablet supports recycling and brings the world of technology to students in a portable device. All Smartphones donated will be erased and reset to the original factory settings. The device will then have the appropriate academic apps installed. While there will be no telephone access, this device will offer both Wireless and Bluetooth capabilities to our students providing them access to the Internet. Please help our students to be the best that they can be by providing them with tools to help them to succeed. Stop by Seminole High School to drop off your old Smartphone or Tablet. Your tax deductible donation will change the lives of many students. Thank you.
