Event Description:
Join the Seminole Cultural Arts Council (SCAC) for a gala 10th Annual Hoooowl for the Arts-A Night of Hollywood Stars at the Heathrow Country Club from 7:00-10:00pm, Saturday, October 29, 2016. Attire: Costume or Black Tie requested.
The evening will feature dining stations and dessert table, original art, live and silent auctions, “High Stakes” roulette & blackjack tables, the “Take One” photo booth, raffles, dancing and a cash bar. In addition, the “2016 heART for the Arts Award” will be presented to Florida Hospital-Altamonte for their continued support of art and culture in Seminole County.
Proceeds from the Hoooowl provide sponsorship of a variety of programs and events which offer exceptional arts experiences to our residents, businesses and visitors including: Sanford Art Walk (3rd Saturday), Lake Mary/Heathrow Arts Festival, Arts Alive-the Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools, Orlando Philharmonic’s “Concert at the Springs in Longwood, the Steinway Society Student Piano Gifting Program, Great Day in the Country-Oviedo, ARToberFEST in Winter Springs, St. Luke’s Free Concert Series in Oviedo, Celery Soup-Florida’s Folk Life Play, Leadership Seminole Art & Culture Day, Festival of Trees at the Orlando Museum of Art, and the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
