Sanford Regional Chamber of Commerce donates to
Seminole County Public Schools Families in Need Program

Sanford, Florida, March 15, 2019 – The Greater Sanford Regional Chamber of Commerce, as part of the Clean Kids Back Pack Program, donated 2,000 toothbrushes, 360 sixty tubes of toothpaste, and 70 bars of soap to support the personal care needs of SCPS students through the Seminole County Public Schools Families in Need program. “The chamber feels privileged to have the support of our members, the community, and Father Mark with the St. Paul Parish.

The Chamber has teamed with the National Clean Kids Backpack Program, a nonprofit charity designed to help America’s homeless registered public school children (K-12) meet the most basic personal hygiene standards, to collect hygiene products.  Our goal is to collect 10,000 hygiene products; toothbrushes, toothpaste, bar soap and shampoo.  Once we reach our goal the products will be delivered to the Seminole County Public Schools representative.

“The Greater Sanford Regional Chamber of Commerce is so blessed to have such support on this program. Every week we collect at our weekly networking event from our members” said Suzanne Kelly, Chair, Greater Sanford Regional Chamber of Commerce.
